Her main purpose was to continue to talk for such a long time that the session would run out of time for voting and would not be able to vote. This is something known as a filibuster and Sen. When a topic is under discussion, there are many strategies that can be implemented in order to communicate and transmit a point of view. First of all I analyze the audience, a correct study of the audience can give us the chance to choose the right approach. Then, I try to be specific and confident when I present my opinion, and use pathos, logos and ethos.
