In the “History of animal experiment in biomedical research”, it talks about animals being used for experiments. There was this belief among the Greek physicians that one could understand the meaning of nature by experimenting or exploring nature. Therefore animals were used human sickness, interpretations of other things were inaccurate. This is so naïve of them. Because what shows that dissecting an animal will lead to a possible conclusion. Is it right for animals to be used for experimental purposes? What law permits this? In the “Impact of animal rights on animal research”, if animals are used are used for drug development, education, testing, medical researches and used for toxicity tests to determine the threat chemicals have on humans and as well as other things. It is true that all these things have helped to save humans from being killed or captured and used for experiment processes. But the situation is has all these things paid off? Humans are still dying because of access to dangerous chemicals, humans are not getting better after all the drug test done on animals. The point is whether it is worth it? Is there any rights protecting the lives of animals? …show more content…
Monkeys have been said to have certain features and qualities as humans. But the problem is monkeys are not humans. Majority of monkeys are bred and used for experiments, some are caught in the wild and others imported. If we continue to use nonhuman primates such as monkeys for experiments and drug development very soon they will not be in existent. What if animals used for the experiment becomes void that means their lives are useless because they suffered in or died in vain. How many animals will die as a result of this treatment or
