Cannabis, also known as marijuana among several other names, is a preparation of the Cannabis plant intended for use as a psychoactive drug or medicine. Worldwide Marijuana is the most used drug. Marijuana is a mood-altering drug that affects almost every organ in the body. Growing up I never heard of such thing maybe because my parents kept in sheltered and I really didn’t get to explore the world until after I graduated from high school. In the U.S. today Washington and Colorado have legalized the use of marijuana recreationally, to basically test out and see what kind of impact it will have on revenue and on both states. Still, some say the legalization of marijuana argue that any fiscal benefits form legalization is outweighed by the social impact. If the U.S. was to really legalize marijuana, I think that they fear it would bring more violence, crime, and social disintegration of the country. Who is to say that legalizing marijuana won’t really help the world in its crisis. Poverty, Homelessness, if the drug can really bring more money to the economy then why not give it a try. Whether it gets bad results or good results we will never know until they try it. 3) Marijuana is safer than alcohol. Through the decade’s marijuana has been given a bad rap. Most Americans have been led to believe that marijuana is very dangerous and a highly addictive drug. Some have even said that marijuana causes cancer and is a gateway to harder drugs.
