Affirmative action was intended to increase the access of education and job opportunities for members of groups that are, historically discriminated against, affirmative action programs try to ensure that minorities get extra special access to jobs and schools, which, for many people, there is not equal opportunity.
Affirmative action, even the playing field because it allows those who have the same potential as whites to receive better jobs or a better education to prepare themselves to be qualified to enter the workforce. Affirmative action has helped in the progress of women of all colors in the United States as we can clearly see how they are CEO’s of major companies, therefore this program was not simply put in place for blacks

Having the opportunity to be educated in different areas and learning better skills that would create a greater chance to compete for different levels of employment all fall under the affirmative action which has helped minorities greatly in their current achievements in education and the workforce.
The nay Sayers to Affirmative action would like for Americans to trust that this act of making those of color and different genders better through education, to find better jobs takes away from white Americans who are entitled to get the best job, homes, carriers, protection and the list go on but, this is why the law was made in the first place to help give those who at one period of time had no opportunity or rights to any of these privileges that one race has enjoyed for decades. Whites are feeling that affirmative action really discriminates against them just because it promotes diversity in the workplace where women and minorities are being raised to positions that they think they are entitled to have now this in itself has produced a negative outlook on affirmative action policies in
