Bob Marley, the greatest known jamaican of all time, once said “Herb is the healing of a nation, alcohol is the destruction.” Marijuana is a natural herbal element that is used for various things, such as medical purposes and just to have some fun, this herb is actually less dangerous than alcohol and somehow alcohol is legal while marijuana still remains illegal with the federal government. Marijuana serves a true purpose with helping people with real diseases, while alcohol impairs the brain and only does damage to your body, if alcohol is legal then I believe marijuana should also be legal. The government puts so much money into keeping marijuana off the streets, but instead we should be earning money by legalizing the drug and putting taxes on it.As said before, marijuana is a natural herb that helps with healing and calming, instead of trying to spend all the money possible to get rid of it we should actually make money off something that is so highly demanded and legalize it placing taxes on the product.
