Getting the opportunity to the United States of America in pursuit of a better Education was not an easy achievement. Just like many families in Angola, the country where I was born, my family could not afford to send me to United States of America do study Engineering. And, scholarship opportunities rarely appear. Thankfully, I was fortunate to be awarded with a scholarship to study computer engineering at one of the most prestigious schools in United states, Arizona State University. The transition from Angola to the United states was not easy in any way. There were many barriers that I had to overcome, language, culture, and homesickness are at the top of the list. I expect to graduate in December 2017 with a Bachelor’s of science degree in Computer Systems Engineering, with certificate in Applied Business and Data Analyses from W. P. Carey School of Business. Until now, I have been quite successful, and I am proud of that. However, I strongly believe that we can always better our best, and that limits are imaginary barriers that we create to ourselves. I have learned uncountable things while pursuing my undergraduate degree, but I think there still a lot be to be learned. Although one can never reach to the point of knowing everything that there is, I do believe that pursing a Master degree in Computer Engineering will surely further my understanding of this amazing
