My passion for business and entrepreneurship began at a young age. One of my fondest childhood memories was setting up a stand at a local golf course and selling golf balls that had been hit into my backyard. Early business ventures like this helped set up a framework of business knowledge that I spent my teen years building on. I have spent countless hours researching business concepts, reading stock reports, and listening to entrepreneurial lectures. I have excelled in numerous business classes and competed in multiple competitions. Growing up in a suburb outside of Philadelphia, I always viewed University of Pennsylvania as the pinnacle of educational prestige and opportunity. I am thrilled at the possibility of collaborating with an experienced Entrepreneur through the Entrepreneur in Residence Program. The Wharton Venture Initiation program and The Wharton Small Business Development Center will give me an opportunity to gain experience running a business. The vast amount of resources these programs offer will help me achieve success and learn important lessons from my early business ventures. In addition, my background will allow me to excel in the enlightening business courses at the Wharton School. While I have participated in multiple business classes and competitions throughout high school, the majority of my dynamic business background can not be expressed on a High School Transcript. My hours spent discussing issues facing small business with local Entrepreneurs, studying business owner's methods of success, and reading literature like The Essays of Warren Buffett can not be shown on a transcript. However, this time I spent will allow me to excel and take full advantage of the vast amount of opportunities the Wharton School
