When I read all three main ideas from each person I felt that about what Booker T Washington had to say I didn’t like his ideas because, he wanted African Americans not to fight for civil right and fight against segregation but to accept segregation like in quote he says for his speech in “Atlanta Compromise” he says “we can be as separate as the fingers, yet one as the hand in all things essential to mutual progress”(3).And with this he believes that the only way to get along with the white people in hope for exchange for get African American getting education, because he believes if African Americans ever fight for the civil right and against segregation it will lead to bloodshed and he thinks this only way to make the south safe for African …show more content…
Washington in his Speech which was called “Of Mr. Booker T. Washington and Others” calling Booker T. Washington and the people that support him a “cult” (7). Believing that what Booker T Washington only did was allow white people in the south to especially the radicals, to discriminate African American a lot more and that nothing had improved since the “Atlanta Compromise”. Plus saying “Mr. Washington represents in Negro thought the old attitude of adjustment and submission”
