Every mother has their own opinion when it comes to what is best for the child. Some mothers don’t even have the option to choose between bottle feeding or breast feeding, sometimes breastfeeding isn’t successful because the mother can’t produce milk and other leading health factors. But, many mothers opt to bottle-feeding even if they don’t have a health issue. It’s been a main concern for the public health because a baby gets more nutrients from their mother than formula. So, what is more beneficial to the baby, bottle feeding or breast feeding? That is definitely a question, that raises the public’s attention.
Lactation is one of the essential elements for the physical growth, immunological functioning and psychological development of children, especially during the first year of life” (Teles). Obviously, if the mother has health issues or the baby can’t take breastfeeding, than bottle feeding is a good way to go. But, I think if the mother and baby are healthy, I believe breastfeeding is very healthy for the child’s development so the child’s immune system can stay healthy. I do think mothers go to bottle feeding because it is more convenient, for example, the father can feed the baby also, but what all moms need to think about is there baby. Breast milk is made for a baby's digestion as formula, it is not. I even saw this on my nieces and nephew, my nephew reacted better to breastfeeding than my niece who was bottlefed.
