The ad “Public social ads animals” is a print ad that is created by Bund; an environmental protection organization has published this ad online in the year 2015, so we can see it easily on the internet. The ad shows a prominent picture can attract the attention of viewers at first look. The picture draws a big clock with a short hand indicates the number twelve and a long hand indicates at the number eleven. Between two those hands has a sea dog is being suffered by them and is described in a statement, “Every 60 seconds a specie dies out.” So the picture is placed in a high awareness that everyone need to know. That makes viewers more aware of the extinction of many species. Because of the wide members of Bund which is the author of the advert, has played an important role in widespread of the advertisement. Therefore, this ad has given credibility among large communities and numerous people. So the image and the text of it was designed for viewers to understand easily, just looks at the image and the text, viewers would able to realize the issue that the author want to them to know. In addition, the text just shows how essential the issue is but it does not talk about what makes many species become extinct or the reason why they are dying out. The author does not tell viewers the reason why because the author wants viewers to feel the same as the feeling of the author. The author has used the appeal of emotion to viewers to persuade or to affect viewers’ viewpoint in the way the author want. Especially in this image, the author designs the sea dog looks like very agonizing so that when viewers look at it and the text, they could be able to interpret that many species are in danger because of human. Or in other words, human beings have a huge impact on species. That is the important point that the author wants viewers to realize, human beings are main cause of extinction of species.
