Many see this word and think badly, many see this word and do not have a clue what it is. How can one decide if one does not know? Cannabis is a popular recreational drug around the whole world, used in many different ways. Cannabis or also known as hemp can grow up to eighteen feet tall and pops up alongside roads or driveways from stray seeds. It is only under alcohol, caffeine and tobacco. Can you believe that over one hundred million Americans have tried cannabis? It is one of the most commonly used drugs. Moreover, you would not believe how long back it has been around! The date goes back to 2737 B.C. Its use spread from China to India and then to North Africa and reached Europe as early as A.D. 500. In 1545 the Spanish brought marijuana to the New World. The English introduced it in Jamestown in 1611 where it became a major commercial crop alongside tobacco and was grown as a source of fiber. What is your view? Is it good or bad? On the other hand, teens who smoke marijuana long term have lower IQs later in life as well as structural differences in their brains. Not only this but, smokers are widely open to illnesses and are likely to suffer from bronchitis. Cannabis is nowhere near safe. Who wants to feel these side effects? I wouldn’t want to feel dizzy or extremely tired all the time missing the outside world. I wouldn't want to throw my guts up because it made me sick, or make me hallucinate. Our memories are precious and in some cases that is all we have, but what if this drug made you forget those good times? How would that make you feel? Everyone has to understand the risk they are
