My motivation for applying to Carnegie Mellon University was my interest in networking. I would like to learn Telecommunication & Networking as it would provide a fundamental base on knowledge and skills of telecommunication & networking that will help me to make a suitable installation of networking and become a programmer after learning in CMU. I intend to pursue a Master of Science of Information and Technology program in order to achieve my goal.
First, I wish to get a Master of Science of Information and Technology degree and I would like to study in this area because Carnegie Mellon University has one of the best MSIT in all over the world. I would like to study in telecommunication & network at CMU and I choose your university because you offer the best conducive learning environment.
My major subjects were mathematics, physics and computer science in advanced levels (A’ levels) and in that time I realized that my goal would come true due to the fact that I developed the foundation skills and knowledge that would help me later on become a programmer, After three years I passed national examination in advanced levels and I got certificate of A2 as grade of completing my secondary school from Rwanda Education Board.
