Knowledge is the power that lets you know the world you already are exposed to in a new light. I believe, the more you know the better you are as an individual and as well as a society. Along with that it is also really important to know the right thing from the right people. Today, the right kind of education is the driving force of the future, both individually and collectively. This certainly makes me believe that it is quintessential for me to have an education from a university that will add credits and also make me a better person and help me serve the society in a much better way. Doing qualitative and quantitative research for the people beyond regions and countries gave me a better idea of their perception and the choices they would make. It all made me adaptable enough to set myself freely to understand more. This all only happened by the decision I made of getting into a college which had specialization in Advertising.
I believe advertising as an industry is culture oriented and we have to know the actual demography and psychographics of people from various backgrounds your course and the overall experience will help me in understanding it more in detail that too at a global level. This knowledge will be very useful for me to perceive my career in advertising. Understanding different cultures and the impact of media on them will help in understanding my industry well and this experience will prove to be very valuable for me.
Along with educational qualification I also have some experience working in advertising & marketing for major retail and real estate brands in India. This experience also adds some valuable qualities which will be very useful in perusing my further endeavors. Apart from this I was very active in my college theatre circuit and participated in various plays and street plays at various intercollegiate levels also I have organized events like a Flash mob promoting Indian Premier League T20 team Mumbai
