Growing up, one fact about me was becoming a lawyer was not my initial plan. As cliché and repetitive that sounds; it is the truth. Even when I’ve graduated college, I still had a difficult time thinking of who I really wanted to be. But what I did know was I needed to work on becoming more focused and driven about my life. I’m the youngest of three in my family and that has defiantly spoiled me tremendously. I’ve never knew to be strong and motivational because, instead of working for I want, I’ve had stuff done for me. Soon as I developed being a well-round, tough, and focus woman; it was a great contribute in my decision in going to law school. After graduation, I landed my first job as a Legal Assistant for foreclosure firm called Aldridge Pite, LLP. I was considered to be very lucky due to working in my career field only three weeks after completing school. Under a desk covered with pleadings, I would read everything and grew intrigue with the legal process within the firm. Working in Office Services, I was taught that every step needed to be a meticulous one. I had to make sure that everything was mailed, e-filed, and FedEx correctly. I was in charge of Sales and Client relations. Anything that went wrong with my documents, I had to take full responsibility for it. No one could physically help me and no one was there to emotionally prepare me for this shift from silver spoon princess to a responsible adult.
