6 Questions Essay
I am a very independent student. I prefer to do things myself because I am also a very opinionated person. If I do my work by myself, I have the satisfaction of knowing that it will be done exactly how I want it to be done. In addition to that, I am always very eager to learn new things and to grow as an individual. Without learning there would be no growth at all, I believe that education is the key to success. No matter what it is you strive to do in life you are going to need some form of knowledge to get there.
My mother sees me as a very confident student. For example, she has noticed that I am not afraid to try new things. To put it differently, no matter what it is I am always willing to give it a shot. I never expected her to see me as a confident person. I sometimes notice that it is challenging for me to get out of my comfort zone. Most of the time if a situation comes up where I have to do something I wouldn’t normally choose to do I back away, but really all I need is someone to push me and assure me that I am capable of doing it. Once someone does that for me, I am on board with it. We both agreed that I am an independent student. I like things done my way and when I can do it by myself, I know it will be done to my expectations. Another thought of hers was that I am able to laugh at myself when I make mistakes. I hadn’t really realized that I do that prior to her saying that, but now I realize that that is a very true statement. In other words, laughing at myself is my way of acknowledging the fact that making mistakes is a positive thing and it’s nothing to be concerned about. It’s simply part of life and you flourish as an individual by learning from those
