Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Now. These are all streaming services that are ruining business for movie theaters all around the united states. Movie theater tickets can range from $10.00 to $15.00 per person every time you go to see a movie, while streaming services range from $8.00 to $15.00 a month with thousands of movies and tv shows to choose from.

Anyone can tell that a streaming like Netflix is ruining movie theater’s by the profits. While a movie theater like Cinemark is making almost 60 million dollars each year, a company like Netflix is making around 5.5 billion dollars every year, with Hulu in a close second making about 3 billion dollars annually. But when Netflix updates its selection of movies or shows, they can be pulled off when the creators don't want the streaming service platform to show it anymore. If the show becomes very unpopular and very little people still watch the show, this can also happen. Basically someone can only watch movies in a movie theater three or four times a month when movies come out, not acknowledging the if the person wants to watch the movie(s) that come out this month. With a streaming service you can watch a different movie that you would like almost everyday.

Everybody knows at the movie theater you can't watch tv or your favorite show. Streaming services allow you to watch shows and movies you want to watch without having to leave the com. With movies and shows on streaming services you want to watch and you don’t have to worry about the movie leaving theaters before you get to see it. Then you will have to wait a month for it to come out on digital copies, such as DVDs.
