Although the job roles of a teacher and nutritionist are very different in ways of pay grade, job roles, and overall effectiveness to their community, the importance of both jobs dignifies those who work in the job areas. One of the most important jobs in America, if not the entirety of the world, is teaching. The list of jobs that teachers and educators alike must complete are monumental tasks that many people do not have the skill to complete. Teachers focus on several topics and subjects to help expand the minds of children and adults alike, from English to mathematics, many educators enjoy the task of aiding students to learn. Teachers not only give questions that already have answers, but also ask questions to help develop the student's own thought process and assist them in thinking critically. Many teachers usually major in teaching and then either learn the subject they will be teaching in the future or already have an extensive knowledge in that field. The greatest aspect of teaching is that you must know exactly what you are teaching and what will be taught. Becoming a teacher requires many hours of hands on experiences including workshops, hours of supervised teaching, training in education courses, etcetera. The minimum education required is an undergraduate’s degree, however higher degrees may allow for higher pay wages and salaries. Technology is ever present in today’s society, so as part of curriculum in several states, basic technology skills are now required to be hired as an instructor or educator. Licensure is needed to become a teacher and the license can only be obtained through a state license course, teacher education course exams are also prevalent in the journey to obtain the job.
