Shannon Gilbert (24) went missing in 2010 and her family pressure police to look for the prostitute who used to live in New Jersey. During their investigation, police dogs discovered a body, which was identified to be Melissa Barthelemy (24); she was missing for over a year and also was a prostitute but from Bronx. All the bodies were placed in the burlap sack or wrapped in plastic sheet. No other DNA was recovered besides the ones of the victims. It is very difficult to prove who is responsible for these murders because of lack of evidence which could link to the killer. Also, the cell phone calls could have been credible evidence, but it did not help because police could not trace phone calls to the suspect. Criminal profiling is well done, but there are many people who could fall under such description. Because murders were so far apart and some bodies were mutilated it is difficult to define when and how some victims
