Happiness is an emotion, which makes it subjective, so it is difficult to have a definite meaning for the word. Is happiness just the absence of a negative feeling or is it the feeling of fulfillment and joy? Depending on the person, the answer varies and different activities make different types of people happy. Furthermore, each individual is willing to sacrifice certain materials to bring them joy. Nevertheless, in general, as a society, people sacrifice certain things, like money and time, in order to “make them happy.”
Happiness is one of the six main emotions that humans experience during their lifetime. Certain people experience other feelings more than others like a child is happier and less stressed than an adult would be. Fear, anger, and sadness are all seen as negative feelings, and people usually want to avoid accepting any of these emotions because of the distress they cause. Being happy can improve one’s lifestyle tremendously. Happiness helps to build healthy relationships and be optimistic about the future, but sadness and fear also help one’s state of mind.
Choosing to Attend Valley Academy: In the late winter of twenty-fifteen I made a decision that has forever impacted my life. A cold and rainy day in January, I was accepted to a school that I knew would be a perfect fit for me. I wouldn’t only be receiving a fresh start with a whole new group of people, but I would be getting to really start focusing on who I wanted to be in life, and I would begin working on my future career in my freshman year of high school.
Happiness is an emotional or a mental state of mind. If a person chooses to be happy, and persue's the attraction of maintaining to stay happy then a person will eventually be happy. Being happy has a huge role on how a person sees things in life. If a person is positive and attracts all positiveness, then they will eventually be happy. But, if a person is negative then that will result in being miserable in every aspect of life.
Happiness is essential to have a successful life. According to BerkeleyWellness.com, “Researchers think of happiness as having satisfaction and meaning in your life,” meaning that if you know what you are doing with your life and that you are satisfied, include that you happy. Happiness is the ability to have positive emotions or the ability to overcome a negative outcome. Being with friends and family, relaxing, and sleep amplifies my happiness. Happiness to me, is a state of continuing mind because if you keep a positive mindset you will be more happy.
There are three reasons of happiness: being successful, health and education. The first reason of happiness is being successful. Successful life can lead to happiness. For example, if you are a successful student, you are going to be happy. Also, hard work in your in your life, so that can be successful man.

With such a broad definition, it is true that a person could be happy about almost anything in the world. Happiness is not something that can be measured or exchanged. Instead, like other immeasurable entities, it is something that cannot psychically be grasped in hand.
Happiness is everyone’s right but the way to happiness may differ from person to person. So, what is happiness? And how can someone be happy?
Happiness is a feeling of contentment, displayed through emotion, action and physical appearance. However, a smile on someone’s face does not indicate what they may be feeling on the inside, it is much deeper than that. Research in the field of positive psychology and happiness often defines a happy person as someone who experiences frequent positive emotions, such as joy, interest, and pride, and infrequent negative emotions, such as anger. The key to viewing happiness is realizing that being a happy person does not mean that there is an absence of negative emotions. A happy person is just like anyone else, but the frequency of negative feelings possessed differs for each individual.

What is Happiness? Each individual may have an entirely different view on the meaning of happiness. Personally, happiness to me is being content with what you have, being able to provide one’s basic needs and helping others. Some people necessitate material things in order to be happy, while for others, it is showing humanitarianism which according to Jeremy Bentham is ‘‘the greatest good for the greatest number of people’’. No matter one’s status in life, we all deserve to be happy, however, we should not pursue happiness at the expense of others. Human beings existence is to make others happy, once others are happy we too will be happy.
Happiness Happiness can be difficult to define and even more difficult to achieve. Everyone can express happiness in many different ways. Marriage might be happiness, feeling love, having support, and having comfort. This can be defined as happiness for some people but on the other hand there are so many levels of happiness according to Association for Psychological Science. Shigeniro Oishi who attended the University of Virginia stated, “Once people are moderately happy, the most affective level of happiness appear to depend on the specific outcomes used define success, as well as the resources what are available” (Oishi 2007).
We know it is an emotion we have all felt at one or many points in life whether it was on Christmas morning or you simply earned an A on your exam. Happiness is an astonishing emotion that changes our mood for a simple moment or even a lifetime. When happy you feel as if you are on cloud nine with not a worry in the world. Just as though, all your concerns are vanished for that slight moment. Happiness has the effect to take control over oneself in the finest way possible.
Happiness Happiness is not feeling good all the time, having more money and affording everything you want, not a final destination. Then what actually is happiness? People have agonized over this question for ages, but now today science has begun to weigh in on the debate. Many people think that getting what you want is happiness, being more rich is happiness which helps you buy every branded cloth, phone, make-up, shoe, being mentally satisfied is happiness, but no there are things beyond these desires which actually sum up happiness.
Happiness can be defined in many different ways depending on who you are talking to. To me, it can be found listening to my favorite music with the volume turned all the way up. Through this experience I am able to immerse myself in something I truly love and be a be a better, lighter version of myself. For some, happiness is living in the moment and experiencing life as it passes, but for others it means living a life of virtue. Though happiness may look different for everyone, it is something that everyone is striving for.
