Derek worked with the dealers in his district to increase vehicle availability and sales by assisting them with comprehensive pay plan, marketing and merchandising strategy. i.e... Stev. West. needed to increase Corolla sales efficiency. With Derek’s urging. The dealership changed its salesperson pay plan to focus on volume, merchandised Corolla better by moving the inventory to highly visible area and changed its Corolla marketing with more aggressive pricing in its ad’s. Because of these changes the dealership increased its Corolla sales as well as their sales efficiency.
When Derek joined the sales training team. He was tasked to work closely with the DM team to create innovative training the DM’s needed in their districts and with his new team. Derek has worked well with the district mgr.’s as well as the training team to decide what training is needed and to create innovative classes. i.e.… assisted with creating a competitive comparative training to make it more market specific and hands on for the salespeople by including the mobile resources as part of the class. While training, the team can ask questions which are found on these mobile sites and salespeople can get familiar and comfortable with these sites and it makes it easier for them use on a daily basis.
