Donald Trump, the entrepreneur and businessman decided to run for president of the United States of America. He’s running under the Republican Party and is a front runner according to most polls. Donald Trump would be the best candidate for the country, and he help America move forward, and as he likes to say, make America great again, he would help the country the most in terms of national security, education, and our financial situation. National security is how the government protects the citizens, and their property from any type of crisis or issue that may arise. Trump also has significant experience in Education, as he once ran a university himself. Many believe that education is the most important issue in the election as it can influence the future of our country and our children. Donald Trump is heavily against common core, saying that anyone who supports it is in favor of Washington educating our children (What Donald Trump Believes About Education). Instead of Common Core Mr. Trump believes that education should be under local control, as the standards of education can vary from place to place (Forbes). He also believes that schools should be more rigorous:
“Our schools aren’t safe. On top of that, our kids aren’t learning. Too many are dropping out of school and into the street life-and too many of those who do graduate are getting diplomas that have been devalued into “certificates of attendance” by a dumbed-down curriculum that asks little of teachers and less of students. Schools are crime-ridden and they don’t teach. Public education was never meant to only teach the three R’s, history, and science. It was also meant to teach citizenship.
