In the Presidential Election of 2016, there is a constant feud between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. In order to make the decision for who is the better candidate, there are many factors to consider. For example, one may think about views and ideas on education, abortions, health care, and immigration. Trump, as well as any other presidential candidate, has very strong ideas and plans for the future of this country. Hillary Clinton wants to focus on the importance of family, and allow “millions of hardworking people into the formal economy.” (hillaryclinton.com) This is not a smart decision because, as it is, America already has a low unemployment rate. So, if Hillary is trying to create jobs and a successful future for immigrants, she isn’t putting American citizens first. Trump, on the other hand, is trying to make our country a place where true, hard working Americans are placed on job opportunities before people from other countries. He says, “A nation without borders is not a nation.” (donaldjtrump.com) “There must be a wall across the southern border.” (procon.org) “Petitions for workers should be mailed to the unemployment office, not USCIS - United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.” (donaldjtrump.org) Donald Trump will put a stop to the many detrimental problems caused by immigrants. For example, U.S. taxpayers have had to take care of hundreds of billions of dollars in healthcare, education, and welfare costs due to immigrants cheating the system. (donaldjtrump.com) In 2011, researchers found a total of 3 million arrests connected to the “incarcerated alien population” that involved violent beatings, rapes, and murders. (donaldjtrump.com) For these reasons, Trump wants to go forward with building a wall or fence - and he should. He believes that Mexico should even pay for the construction, taking
