Motivation is key for any group, this group has many motivators including Michael and Steven. Each person in this group can help one another to get the project done. With the help of each other, the group can really shine.
The group needs to be ready for anything. Changes occur every day within an organization whether it be reactive or a proactive change. The group needs to be prepared for both. This group would work well with change. Brealynn being on her toes and ready for change can help everyone adapt to changing. Ashley will be able to judge actions of others in the group to make sure that others make ethical decisions for the group. As an organization, we need to identify and properly map out our vision, mission, and values. The values are created from the beliefs and attitudes from within the organization. The values need to be clearly defined and implicit. Once these values are accepted they become concrete and unchangeable. Our values focus on fairness, teamwork, and financial performance. Each individual will be given the chance to start at any desired available position without standards to provide a safe and fun environment. The mission is seen as the reason, intention, and purpose for the organization to exist. This is a statement created by board members that embody our previously set values and purpose. As with our values, it needs to be apparent and realistic. Every employee with the company is expected to know and be able to recite the mission at any given time. The vision statement is positioned after values and the mission statements are resolute. The vision is seen as the “what” of the company. It is the actual steps taken to reach the applicable future state of the organization. This creates a sense of direction and goals. The decision-making process for our organization is the rational model of decision making. This will allow us to view each decision made in steps and how it is implemented. Everyone has strengths and weakness, for every weakness, each one of us has another contributes as a strength. The group started out as a simple structure, Ashley initially took on the role of authority and organized the team. As we began to work together it developed into a functional structure. Although we all have leadership qualities everyone has special skills and we work together like links in a chain. As formal group members, we learn to appreciate one another and know what best adjustments need to be made to better benefit the group. We can read each other and make judgment calls as change occurs so we flow with it and not get left behind our competition. Our success is influenced by internal and external factors. As a family-type organization, we have understanding and dependence, we can spend less time looking inward and focus on external factors. Our communication skills and trust allow us to come to one another for advice and opinions. New ideas can enter the business and allow us to be proactive. With the time we have worked on this together on this the question is not if but when we achieve our
