It is important that people who are working with children and young people in a carting environment are aware of, and have read the policies of the setting. These should always be available and easily accessible, many settings ask for individuals to sign to show proof that they have read the policies. This safeguards the organisation and the staff and ensures that a common practice is used in each and every case.
