It is with this in mind that the premise that corporations should be run with a spirit of fairness, transparency, and sound financial decision-making (to which the latter is of utmost importance to investors) is presented. In short, the corporation must practice good stewardship. The corporation must have the trust of its stakeholders if it is to thrive. Luke 16:10 - 12 describes this idea in Jesus' parable of unjust steward: Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.
