The competitive landscape for Future College Scholars would be the industry of College counseling or college consulting. In this industry the competitive rivalry is among organizations that are well known or have a brand name such as Beasley college consulting, LCC. College transitions and admit advantage. Threat of new entrants include state programming that are being currently developed such as advise me, independent college counselors, apps that are being developed geared toward mapping the college-going process, and program developed by universities. I plan to meet with school officials such as a counselor or community relations individual to develop partnerships that will allow information about Future College Scholars to be given out to students. I also plan on meeting and promoting my services to after school programs such as TRIO programs and college access programs. I will then meet with the college access offices at the state level and partner with them to promote my program such as the Michigan College Access Network. I also plan to attend college access conferences to promote Future College Scholars. Another way I plan on promoting my program is through social media and mailing information out to homes about the program and services that are provided. The Brand Strategy for Future College Scholars is the promise to my customers that we will provide personalization and helpful coaching throughout the entire college-going process. Our brand will be that we are coaches who will develop game plans for our students. (Need to add digital strategy) Future College Scholars promise will be to provide customers with a sense of personalization which will be done by our coaches developing personalized college access plans. Each year the number of sales will increase. Most of my profit will come from our hourly one-on-one counseling and student workshops, although our college counseling packages are the most expensive unit for sale this service is limited because of our small number of staff members. After three years the price set of units could increase along with the reputation of the college scholar academy and experienced staff that will be hired. I strongly believe all units have the potential to increase after three years

The Overall purpose of Future College Scholars is to increase the number of students who will apply and feel confident to matriculate to college. Other goals include educating parents, educators and school districts to adopt a college-going mindset and culture for their students to help Future College Scholars. The success of my program will be looking at the following outcomes:
 Increase in students who feel confident, knowledgeable, and motivated to apply to college
 Increase in the number of students who are accepted to 4-year universities
 Increase in the number of students who are motivated and confident to apply and receive scholarships from universities and other private scholarship
