(max 150 words) Interning at the ADAMS Lab at the University at Buffalo made me realized my passion I had for engineering research. Working with Autonomous UAVs I began to understand just how satisfying the element of discovery and how much the rigor appealed to me. I hope to continue working with autonomous UAVs as a researcher in college.
When I commenced my career in nursing, there was always a profound inclination within to aim for, and attain higher within the profession. I envisioned myself in a particular, unique role in the field of nursing. The capability to diagnose, treat and manage many illnesses throughout our communities in the role of ENP is such an achievement for me. I want to be a student at Emory MSN program because of the many aspects this school has to offer. Emory MSN program has many advanced practice specialties to cater to every nurse, impressive rankings, and an ideal reputation.
I am dedicated, persistent, trustworthy, blunt, and honest as can be. I not only attend high school, but attend Cowley County Community College (CCCC). I attend Cowley to further my knowledge in automotive so that I can be prepared for a job. I am fascinated by the automotive industry and hope to concentrate on diesel technology as well as performance automotive. Working on cars is my biggest hobby, both money and time wise.
Immediately after graduating from Riverdale High School in 2009, I started my undergraduate career at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Upon entrance to MTSU, I believed that my career path was in the field of pharmacy. I envisioned graduating from MTSU after only four years and would be directly on to pharmacy school thereafter. Towards the middle of the first semester, I quickly realized that this would not be the career path for me. I cut back on my course load and worked diligently to finish the semester.
As a citizen of today’s technological society, innovation and breakthroughs are crucial to stay ahead of the system and gain an edge in life. I believe Georgia Tech will allow me to grow not only as a person, but intellectually, with its vast resources, brilliant professors, and ground-breaking research facilities updated constantly, keeping up with the latest standards and innovations. The draw of Georgia Tech’s Parker H. Petit Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience is tantalizing, for the ability to work with such technology to learn and grow is awe-inspiring. On October 20, 1998, I was born in Flagstaff, Arizona to my mom, Sherryl, and my dad, Jack. When I was about two or three, my family moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where we have resided ever since. I am the middle child of three girls. My older sister, Holly, is twenty-one years old, studies national security at Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio, and is in the Air Force. My younger sister, Keely, is fifteen years old, and she is a fantastic artist.
I am interested in MTSU because of the dynamic opportunities offered to students, and its well known reputation for high academic standards. I aspire to continue my education by attending MTSU and take part in one of the many internship programs provided to students. I would like to utilize this aspect to enhance my overall learning experience as well as implement my skills. The diversity of programs and majors offered have opened my mind to multiple opportunities for furthering my education. As a high school senior, my involvement in school has helped me establish strong relations with both the student body and faculty.

As I think of the University of Mississippi, the aspect that most impresses me, and is an addition to my desire to immerse myself in this prominent learning community is the University's outstanding resources. I am very attracted to the opportunity to explore and learn at the University of Mississippi's science departments. Science has been my academic passion ever since I entered middle school. Since then, I have always wanted to get into the medical field to become a neurologist. I believe the brain is a black box with endless mysteries waiting to be explored.
I met students, faculty and staff, and fell in love with the campus and location. Still to this day, I do not regret my decision in attending CWSL.
My job as a patient care technician allowed me to care for numerous individuals from a variety of backgrounds. Through this experience, I came to the realization that I loved people. I loved hearing their stories and the secret hopes and fears they would share with me in the dead of the night. I realized that I wanted to have a career where I could not only help people, but learn from them as well. I believe a career in the healthcare field would allow me to do this.
The majority of my life has been spent placing critical life events and accomplishments onto a timeline. For instance, it has been twenty-one years since I first wrapped my teddy bears in bandages and diagnosed their illnesses. It has been eleven years since I decided to become a nurse. It has been seven years since I was first admitted to Texas A&M University and struggled with the pressures of doing well in college while balancing a personal and family life. It has been almost three years since I last stepped foot on Texas A&M soil.
Georgia Tech is the land of opportunity. The institute pushes its students to work to the best of their abilities, and students see immediate results upon graduation. Aside from its top-notch education, Tech offers one of the best co-op programs and dance associations. As a tactile learner, not only will I gain experience in my career field, I will also be ready to work after graduation. Furthermore, the dance association at Tech will help me meet new, driven people and take me out of my comfort zone.
For as long as I can remember, I ve wanted to be a nurse. Helping people and seeing a good outcome from it has always been a dream of mine, it started when I was younger I saw my mom and grandma helping different people and nurturing them. Seeing how these people would smile and thank my family for helping them inspired me to choose this career. I love how even the uniform color could put a smile on a patient's face, or even simple things such as just seeing their caregiver. There was once a time when my grandma took me to work with her and although I didn t get to do much, just seeing the workers doing their best and putting their all into the job made me happy and very appreciative of them.
All along, I have managed to maintain the principles of ethics and integrity, a strong sense of purpose, and morality, which binds me rigidly. Appointment as student leader in all stages of my school and college life has presented me with opportunity to interact with people, develop organizational and communication skills. My involvement with speech, debate and sports has made me more than just an academic person In the pursuit of excellence and with a passion to reach the highest skills in my discipline, I look upon University of Texas, Arlington a springboard to accomplish my dreams. This esteemed institution can serve as a ladder and enable me to achieve higher aims by providing me the most contemporary input and exposure.
