I performed the assessment on January 26th at 9pm, and the assessment is an abbreviation for "Myers–Briggs Type Indicator.” It describes people by dividing several categories such as “Extraversion or Introversion”, “Sensing or Intuition”, “Thinking or Feeling”, and “Judging or Perceiving.” As for me, the result is “ISTJ” which are introversion, sensing, thinking, and judging. The purposes of this assessment are to understand about myself, to build future plans for finding a job, and to improve my relationship with other people.
In my opinion, my scores for Myers & Briggs seem to be very accurate. The scores revealed that I have an Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judging personality. I am primarily a visual learner, followed by auditory and kinesthetic. I consider myself an introvert because I tend to mainly concern more about my thoughts and feelings rather than external stimuli. However, simultaneously, I worry about my interaction with the people around me, which is why I am sometimes mistaken for an extroverted individual.
I was able to test my personality type with the Myers-Briggs personality test and many other online testing sites. I found this to be very telling. I had no idea so many personality tests were readily available and only took minutes. I learned about the categories of personalities and that you can and do change your personality type over time.
The results that I got back from the Jung Typology test can and will help me with a large amount of questions that I currently have about my career choice. While taking the Jung Typology test I learned that the test itself asked a great deal of personal questions about myself. In terms of questions concerning my personality insight, across the board I would say that my numbers were fair. The personality test revealed a high level of me being open to new experience; and being agreeable. This came as a shocked because in a previous test; my personality revealed that I was an ISTJ, meaning; introvert, sensing, thinking, and judging. Experience to me are important; because it allows me to grow within my organization; and learn new things. In Type Talk At Work, it explains the role of an Introvert, and their preference to work alone; until they realize the value of working as a team.
It indicated that my personality type is pragmatic and realistic with a zest for living life to the fullest. The results show that people with this personality type seek and enjoy freedom, are good-natured, direct and tolerant. It also showed that this personality type appreciate having the right tools on the job and are ingenious at finding solutions and fixing things. Often times, we act without thinking and like things simple and immediate, going with the flow. After reading my results I could see the truth in most of the description, but there was one description that I do not agree with.
According to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator/Jung's Typology Test results, I have a slight preference of Extraversion over Introversion at 9%, I have a slight preference of Intuition over Sensing at 16%, I have a moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking at 34%, and I have a moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving at 31%. I feel as though these results are very accurate. The only section that I don’t completely agree with would be the “Judging over Perceiving” aspect of the test. Relating more with being an extrovert rather than an introvert makes me more personable than some, therefore I attract more people. I do believe that I am certainly more emotional than logical in many aspects of my life, especially when it comes to loved ones.
I find personality tests pointless because I already know what my personality is, but I was never able to put it into words till now. I feel the Enneagram test and personality categories help to fully explain how I work. I can relate to almost/ if not everything in my category. For example, I like to address problems directly and when I commit to something I am too stubborn and can never quit it. I like to push people’s buttons

We all did and compared our various personality types in class. It was interesting to see the variety (we had almost one of each type throughout the class) and the accuracy of the results. The 16 Personalities had a lot of information about the types in terms of relationships and friendships, work ethic, and how specific personality types dealt with conflict. My roommates also took the test and we compared our results with each other, and it seemed that their types strikingly fit their personalities. I was surprised to find that psychologists did not find any part of this test accurate when it seemed to be for me and so many of my peers, so I decided to research this topic further in order to learn about the test’s history and see why it is so largely debated, but still so popular.
When completing the Enneagram Personality inventory, I found my dominant personalities were the perfectionist and the peacemaker. Each of these personalities aided in my decisions when working with Mr. and Mrs. Wilson and the rest of the collaboration team. My first trait, the perfectionist, helped me to be very productive and orderly when putting together an agenda for the collaboration meeting. In order for the meeting to go smoothly, it was very important for me to have a detailed agenda in which I knew I could cover all the information that the Wilson’s needed to hear and also give everyone a chance to voice their comments and concerns during the meeting as well.
I found my results to be highly accurate. The main reason for this is because the title of my personaly type is "The Giver". In my life, giving is what I focus on. I have always been the type of person to care more about other people's needs than my own. I am the friend that everyone comes to when they need help and anyone who knows me knows that if they need someone there for them, I will always be there.
According to the humanmetrics test my I scored INFP. I got 3% for introvert, 22% for intuitive, 9% for feeling, and 22% for perceiving. I’m not an introvert. I’ve never seen myself as an introvert and I still don’t. I know that it was only 3% introvert and that’s not much, but I still don’t see myself as an introvert.
State-Trait Depression Inventory (STDI) was used to measure depression (Spielberger, 2003). A 20-item questionnaire was administered that corresponds to the depression subscale of State-Trait Personality Inventory (STPI). It employed a four-point Likert scale with 1 meaning “almost always” and 4 meaning “almost never”. The Cronbach’s alpha coefficient for the scale in the present study is 0.93.
Resilience is known as bouncing back from the adversities and bringing in strength to cope to difficulties. Adversities happen at personal, community and organisational level. Resilience allows the person to come out of the adversity, rather than staying with it and to move forward further. This is a way of maintaining positive mental health and maintaining one’s own well being in the midst of adverse conditions. It enables a person to maintain positive health in the midst of challenges (Mowbray, 2011).
