As a Freshmen, I am taking the basic core classes, but in the spring, since I will be considered a sophomore with the amount of hours that I have, I will begin taking classes that are guided towards my major of marketing. Even with just taking core classes, I have learned so much, and I am excited to use the information that I learn to contribute to my future in the world of business. After working at Barefoot Campus Outfitters for a year, I have decided that I want to pursue a career in the business field. Through working our marketing events and even just learning how a business works, I am fascinated
Previously in my writing question, I created a film concept of Snowboard dance with the a perfect match of the music on the mountain top. I declared my major as Film and Television Production; therefore, I had chosen University of Southern California, the first university to hold film department since 1929, to train myself with more intense and advance film production. Learning directly from professionals of Hollywood, being able to do all the hands-on work with the latest equipments in the studios is one of my dreams as a teenager when I was young. Back to elementary school, my passion to create things from my heart and enthusiasm has never change. In University of Southern California’s Film and Television Production, I believe I can redefined
When I finally switched my major and started taking business classes I can honestly say I fell in love. I really enjoyed going to class and learning about all different phases of the business world. My two favorite courses were both management courses as these classes taught me skills on how to teach train and most importantly how to develop other people. I then used my knowledge from these classes which helped me excel in all the organizations and clubs I was involved with on campus. These classes at SUNY Oswego really developed me into a leader.
I decided to take this class because it was a subject where I have not taken before. Before I knew it, it sparked my interested because I am applying my knowledge to the real world by understanding how business works. As a result, I said that I am going to study accounting. From my perspective, I believe that I should attend a school where I see myself enjoying every single moment and experience on the campus. For the most part, this helped shape me to prepare for college, while still achieving the “American
For years I walked into the large, mirrored studio nearly everyday, surrounded by my closest friends and inspiring teachers. The majority of my identity is defined by dance. Even though I recently quit ballet, it will forever influence my life greatly. In the beginning of every school year, we usually introduce ourselves with your name and one fact about you. My response has become automatic, "I'm Caroline and I’m a dancer.”
The United States is a country made up of 50 States located in North America. About an estimate of 318.9 million individuals populate it today in the year 2016. Individuals of different races and ethnicity. Individuals who are American citizens and who are not citizens. Over the years the number of people populating the U.S has grown and shifted dramatically.
I’ve been dragged across the stage during the fight scene of the Nutcracker; I’ve recovered from a broken leg; I’ve acted out Swan Lake to younger dancers, and I’ve led Bollywood dance rehearsals for an orginal show to be performed in Europe and the Pacific Northwest. I’m now a pre-professional dancer at the Pacific Ballet Academy, directed by Marion and Rima Chaeff, both of whom trained in Vienna and danced professionally. I cannot imagine my life without the ballet and memories I’ve made from it. I learn choreography for performances by having it demonstrated to me, working with model I can follow and who will work with me at a comfortable pace.
Nuclear power is the use of nuclear reactions that release nuclear energy to generate heat, which is most used in steam turbines to produce electricity in a nuclear power reactors. There are 99 commercial nuclear reactors in operation in US now and two-thirds of the reactors are pressurized water reactors. ("How Nuclear Power Works.") In the pressurized water reactors, the core water is held under pressure and the heat is transferred to water outside the core, boiling the outside water, generating steam, and powering a turbine. After the steam is used to power the turbine, it is cooled off to make it condense back into water.
My dance experience trails back to when I was a freshman in high school, getting involved in some classes at my local dance studio. Immediately, I fell in love with this art form and knew I wanted to carry it with me beyond high school. I began dancing as a dance major at Mesa College in Fall 2017. While I am only just beginning to delve into my second semester, I can already say that I have expanded my knowledge of dance and dance technique at Mesa. In my dance classes, I have been able to improve upon my body placement and proper alignment.
