Identify And Explain The Key Elements That Contribute To The Study

In looking at the responsibilities and limitations within the teacher trainer role I am drawn to those key elements which motivate learners and inspire them to learn.

From the first person perspective my ultimate aim would be to deliver teaching / training and create an environment to facilitate this. The focus of my role relates to inspiring my learner to adapt and then develop their personal and professional skills; this in turn, would nurture their ability to learn. There are key elements which help to facilitate this and which contribute to the planning and preparation you must make. My aim would be to empower my learners to take responsibility for their own development and guide and then control differing factors such as individual learner needs and expectations.

Fundamentally you must make sure that your learners are on the right course for them both in terms of meeting their own needs and expectations and meeting the requirement of the qualification.

Also, within my remit is the responsibility to provide a safe learning environment, a platform to promote equality and diversity, a need to adhere to localised and national legislation, regulation and code of practice including safeguarding and the understanding and application of 'Prevent'.

It is equally important that I am a role model for professional behaviour and that I always strive and challenge myself to inspire learning at all levels. This challenge must also encompass continual improvement whether through my own on-going achievement or the evolution of course material.
