The US healthcare system is the primary US employer that has more than 13 million employees, more than 200 types of occupations, and also trying to train the new workers in multiple skills in order to improve the system more (Sultz & Young, 2014). Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and nursing are three of the various types of occupations and professionals. These healthcare professionals have distinctive levels of education, but there are sure ranges of abilities that clearly demonstrate similarity during inter-professional education (IPE). Interprofessional education (IPE) is a gold standard technique to improve health professional education and it is implemented by Institute of Medicine in order to improve the overall quality of health care (Buring et al., 2009). The layered approach of separating the capabilities of different professions brings down the general cost of education. The healthcare professional education programs, especially physical therapy, occupational therapy, and nursing share similar core subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathology and so on. To teach the above-mentioned subjects, the teachers required to have a specialized degree in a particular subject, which is not much expensive program and the teachers are good enough to educate the students of healthcare professionals. If the classes for these core subjects will be taken in the same class with the students of various healthcare programs sitting together, it may reduce the overall expense of education. Once the students complete the education of common core subjects, they can enter into the specific professional program. In this way, the healthcare education system can save the overall teaching time and teaching expense of the various
