Kendrick Lamar created #1 albums for 5 years in a row becoming a platinum artist. Also, Lamar won 16 Grammy Awards and had an astounding 47 nominations. Lamar before his fame was a hard-working and well-disciplined kid. Lamar is a massively impactful artist who goes out of his way to be a role model and leader to the world. Lamar throughout his career has impacted the future of hip-hop, the younger generation, and the perception of the African American narrative.
First, Lamar changed the perception of hip-hop artists, and popular music artists today are inspired by him.
