M1-A2 Discussion What value do you find in the development of the logic model as part of the program evaluation process after considering the development and application of the logic model? The values I find in the development of the logic model would be to first define the problem of an organization, then agree on the “mission and target audience,” then identify the expectation of the organization, then identify production and consequences that are relevant to the organization. (Hayes, Parchman & Howard, 2011) The logic model is critical to any organization that needs the assistance to understand the organizations and understanding of how their organization works and what to change in the long-term process. My values would include that the logic model could improve the organization ability to change, upgrade, and can support their higher official that might participant in the changes. Having an organization with everything involved might help to develop a strong logic model by enhancing what the organization needs to change something within the organization. Their problems, changing a policy, and getting the participants involved and the ability to get together and share what might need to be changed, short-term and long-term goals. What conditions within an organization or agency make the development of a sound logic model challenging? Individuals working together to come up with a sound logic model by explaining steps and to get the final draft and to begin a new chapter in their quest to change.
