Dear Jury Members: Mr. Eldridge should be found guilty of the crime of murdering Mr. Arms, taking his Super Burger formula, and his money. Today's evidence will prove more than enough to show what this man has done to Mr. Arms. The defense will try to make you think he did nothing, but it is too obvious that Mr. Eldridge killed Mr. Arms, from footprints to hand prints, other people's very own eyes, they have seen it, heard it, and we can't deny it. I think Mr. Eldridge should be found guilty and to start I will present the strongest piece of evidence on the trial, and it was that a witness saw Mr. Eldridge at the scene of the crime shortly before the murder. Screams were heard coming from the restaurant shortly after. William Warden saw David Eldridge enter the Family Fun restaurant two hours before Mr. Armes was found dead. Armes was killed with a metal spatula. David Eldridge’s fingerprints were found on the spatula discovered next to the victim’s body, and David Eldridge’s footprints were found on the floor around Mr. Armes’s body. Mr. Armes was found dead inside the Family Fun Restaurant. His throat had been cut. The coroner concluded that a metal spatula caused the wound in Mr. Armes’s throat. There was a spatula found next to the body. It was covered in Mr. Armes’s blood, but so was everything else around it. The spatula had David Eldridge’s fingerprints. Also, David Eldridge’s footprints were found all over the greasy floor around Mr. Armes’s body. This clearly shows how when he was there in those two hours he used the spatula to quickly hit him in the throat after getting denied the raise, then had more time to grab the money, get the formula, and most importantly what he would call his
