William Warden, a witness in this case, saw David Eldridge enter the restaurant before Mr Armes's death and an hour later Mr Armes's screams were heard. In addition, after a while, he decided to check out the restaurant and found Mr. Armes dead. If David Eldridge did not commit the crime then why did someone witness him with their own eyes entering the restaurant before Mr Armes was dead and then the witness found him dead a while after screams were heard from Mr Armes? The next reason is that there was no sign of a break-in and David and Mr Armes were the only people with keys.
In David Eldridge's house, they found some evidence. David even works at the Family Fun restaurant and that's also where Mr. Arms works. The restaurant was always busy, but David Eldridge never got a raise. David Eldridge was always mad at Mr. Arms. David Eldridge is guilty because there is enough evidence proving that he murdered Mr. Arms.
Crime scene investigators reported that a metal spatula was found on the floor by the body. Also, David Eldridge said that he stole a spatula from Mr. Arm’s restaurant and never gave it back. Later, it was reported that David Eldridge had the same spatula at his house with the blood on it and all. This evidence proves that David Eldridge had to have killed Mr. Arms, or somehow have been involved with giving someone else the spatula to do so since the murder weapon was that same spatula.

David Eldridge has many pieces of evidence to prove he's guilty such as he owned a key to get into the building, he arrived at the building 2 hours before the death, he asked for a raise then Mr. Armes disagreed to giving him a raise that made David Angry, and there's proof that Barbra Wheeler didn't kill Mr. Armes. The strongest piece of evidence in this case was that he was angry at Mr. Armes since the morning of the murder, he asked for a raise and
This shows that David Eldridge had a motive to kill Mr. Armes and was angry at him, causing him to commit cold-blooded murder. In addition, David Eldridge is the only person who could have murdered Mr. Armes. According to the Police Investigator, there were no signs of forced entry, and Mr. Armes and David Eldridge were the only ones with a key. David Eldridge’s fingerprints were found on the metal spatula used to kill Mr. Armes, and he is the only person other than the man who was killed who knew the code to the safe.
There are multiple strong pieces of evidence proving this to be true. These pieces of evidence prove that Mr. Eldridge is guilty. David Eldridge is guilty of Mr Armes’ murder. The strongest piece of evidence is the fact that David Eldridge had a spatula with Mr.Armes’ blood on it.
David went to the restaurant the morning Mr. Armes died before David was going to beg for a raise. Also, David Eldridge’s footprints were found all over the greasy floor around Mr. Armes’s body inside the Family Fun restaurant. This evidence proves my claim that David Eldridge is guilty of Mr. Armes’s murder, since David wanted to get revenge from Mr. Armes, David went to the restaurant the morning Mr. Armes died before David
Case Assessment Click on the link below to view my case assessment in Word Format Personal View :) I believe that Lindy was innocent from the start. If proper forensic tests were performed then the jury probably would of arrived at this decision as well.
Dear Jury Members: In my opinion, David Eldiridge should be found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of murder. Although the defense claims that he is innocent of this crime, they are incorrect because Eldridge had motive to kill Mr. Armes, there was no sign of a break-in, but all the money was gone and he had the key, and lastly, a witness had placed him at the scene near the time of the murder and his footprints were all around the body. First, David Eldridge had the motive to kill Mr. Armes because he was very angry after Mr. Armes hadn’t given him a raise and he needed money because the bank was going to repossess his house, so he could have stolen the recipe and robbed him to get the money. David was the only one that could get into the restaurant and rob Mr. Armes since he has the keys and the combo to the safe.
Simmons confessed to the murder and how he did it. At the trial, the jury found him guilty. During the sentencing hearing, the defense attorneys asked the jury to use Simmons’ age as a factor and that he had no prior arrest reports so that Simmons would not receive the death penalty. Nevertheless, the jury focused on the brutal and aggravated
The jury convicted him of murder. The prosecution sought the death penalty arguing that Simmons murdered for money, to prevent being arrested, and his actions were simply evil and cold-blooded. Family members of the victim made compelling arguments as well (Roper v. Simmons, 2005). The defense tried to convince the court the death penalty should not be sought and presented family testimony showing that Simmons had the ability to love by taking responsibility for his brothers and grandmother. They also showed that he had no prior record (Roper v. Simmons, 2005).

Despite Xavier still being looked for it is still unknown until this day whether he could still be alive or dead. If he was ever found Xavier Dupont de Ligonnes should be prosecuted for the murder of his family because there is strong evidence and there are signs of premeditation. There has to beginning of where everything started to come out and show were everything started going wrong. I still can 't believe the day I first heard of Duncan’s murder. The stormy weather on Thursday the 14th in August of 1040 matched the feelings running through everyone 's head that day. The moment I found out, I began thinking of who could have committed such an act. I knew Macbeth, a great friend of mine, would be just as shocked as me, but for some reason I felt like I couldn 't tell him what I was thinking. I kept remembering the witches’ prophecies about how Macbeth would become king.
