My Goals At Western Michigan University

I am attending at Western Michigan University to achieve my goals including to maintain excellent academic performance and earn a bachelor degree in manufacturing engineering. It is a great opportunity for me to study my career dream. My leadership experiences make me confident to accomplish my dream.

First of all, I would like to discuss the importance of continuing a postsecondary education for me. I have always dreamt of becoming a successful engineer someday, and I am glad that I have the opportunity to study my career field and fulfill my dream. At least a bachelor degree is required to start working in my dream job, therefore, continuing a postsecondary education is necessary to achieving my goal. Not only the education but also the experiences in manufacturing engineering are essential to be successful in this field. Thus, I look forward to working at a manufacturing company during the summer holiday, and I also look forward to working an internship to enhance hands-on experiences.

Secondly, I would like to explore my field of study. I am majoring in Manufacturing Engineering Technology. I have chosen this program to be my field of study because after doing some researches on the Internet and meeting a career advisor, I believe that

Leadership is significantly important for everyone to succeed and achieve our goals. In our church, I have been one of the office-bearers in the youth branch for over three years. From this experience, I have learned many things, including the value of teamwork, and the importance of setting up a positive example for other people. For example, when we did fundraising for our youth branch, we worked together as a team so that we could complete our task quickly.
