I have wanted to be teacher since I was in first grade. At that age I really didn’t know what a career was, but I just knew I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. Now I know the reason I want to be a teacher is because I want to inspire children. Not only that I think children are extremely smart, charismatic, and can make any day a good day. I love children, which is why my major is elementary education and I want to be able to help as many as I can which is why I want an ESL endorsement. When I was younger I had ESL teachers, because I wasn’t very good at English, and I know thanks to them I am smart, and am where I am because of a teacher’s help.
