National Honor Society is meaningful to me because it helps me become a better person and helps me learn how to grow as a person. I will be beneficial to NHS because I’ll be able to use my qualities to make and impact in my community. I also come from south america so when volunteering at spanish speaking places I can translate and help people that way. NHS will also benefit from me because I always put an effort to what I do and volunteering will be easy for me because I love seeing people smile. My grades are good, I always try my best in class. Usually when I don’t understand I try to get as much help so I don’t fail the class. And if I know I am going to be missing class I go talk to my teachers beforehand so I can complete everything in time. Leadership is being a good problem solver, being involved in school activities, working well with people and being organized. In any activity that I am involved in I try to step up and take the lead. When my friends are having some sort of problem I try to find ways to help them out in any way I possibly can. That’s also me with other people I don’t like seeing people struggle at something that comes easy to me and not do anything about it. I always offer help whether people take the offer or not that's up to them. Service is working and helping others or the community without getting any money. Volunteering is always a great way of making people happy. The most rewarding thing a person could give me is their happiness because happiness is contagious. I have volunteered at a variety of different events because of two reasons I am very observing and I like to see how people react to different situations and no matter what event and no matter how tiring it might be it
