There is a current trend, especially in the United States, for increasing obesity in all demographics of society. Essentially, America is becoming more overweight with every passing year. Obesity is running rampant in all age groups, but is becoming specifically common to adolescents and middle aged Americans. Obesity is a significant health concern for several reasons. First, obesity is not an isolated healthcare concern but affects several other areas of healthcare practice and the spread of various diseases.
