Organizational design is a step -by-step methodology which identifies dysfunctional aspects of work flow, procedures, structures and systems, then realigns them to fit current business goals. A plan is then developed to implement the new change. Organizational structure determines how the roles, power and responsibility are assigned, controlled and coordinated. The designs look at how the information flows between the different levels of management (Allen, 2015).
