My areas of interest for college are the minimum population, small class size, a high rating of the college and a friendly and inspiring environment with motivation and opportunities. I want to apply to a competitive university in which it would force me to do the best of what I know in order to get accepted to the school of my choice. By doing this it will help me gain confidence in myself and make me feel accomplished for the knowledge I have. A few schools I am interested in applying for are; Temple University, Penn State University, Drexel University, Thomas Jefferson University, and lastly Buck’s County Community College.

I have always loved the city and have always been a city girl. Philly is where I grew up and I will take any chance to go back there as much as possible...which is part of the reason I want to attend Temple. This university also provides the major, that I am anxious to take which is education in Mathematics. Although I do not like to be cocky or overconfident about something, I personally do not feel it will be too much of a struggle for me to get enrolled in this university. I love the area and surroundings of Penn State Abington. While downtown may be noisy and chaotic yet beautiful, Penn State is calm and relaxing as well as breathtaking. I have had the amazing opportunity to visit the main campus, UPenn. I had an unforgettable time there, spending three days and two night in the college dorms. Getting a taste of college life, shopping in the campus stores, eating out almost six times a day, ordering pizza, and of course attending my competition where I introduced my science fair project. The closest Penn State branch to me is Abbington which I have also visited many times due to my cousins taking me along with them to study in the library. The only downside to this University is that no matter, I would still have to transfer which I have a fear of and am trying to avoid.
