By taking this course, I hope to become a more clear and academically advanced writer. Considering that English is such a world dominating language, I believe that achieving a high level of reading and writing is extremely necessary for a beneficial future. Even though I already speak Dutch and French, many first world countries around the globe are increasingly starting to use English as a primary international language, so understanding, writing, and speaking English well is becoming more important for communication. In order to achieve my future goals relating to global communication, I will need to be successful in EWRT 1A, which I can achieve by staying on top of assignments and turning in work that was thoroughly looked over because it will help me improve my academic tone and further elaborate on my ideas. Reading the information about the writing processes and techniques carefully and taking all the feedback I receive into consideration when I am completing future assignments would certainly help me understand the directions better. Furthermore, after writing my essays, it would benefit me if I have a tutor on campus or a classmate review it, so that no mistakes go unnoticed. In order to be successful in this course, I need to be on top of all the assignments and log in everyday to prevent myself from procrastinating too much. So far, checking in regularly has really prevented me from forgetting to complete an assignment and has reminded me to stay on top of deadlines.Additionally, I want to take my time on the quizzes and check my writing assignments multiple times before submitting them, so that the final draft is well developed and thought
