I am applying for a place on this course because I feel I have an aptitude for business. I have experience of business transactions in which I have taken part in events- organising and advertising parties. I had to contact relevant people that would be interested in such events. I also had to develop financial skills in handling money for the business. If I were successful with my foundation and subsequent Business Management studies then I would use this knowledge to establish a new entertainment company. This company will consist of a music record label, film production facilities and a recruitment agency, which will be recruiting people with a view to developing and showcasing their talents.
My ambition is to make this a Global company.
I believe my well-developed social skills would be very helpful to me in my studies and future career. I have also taken part in extra curricular activities for which I had to integrate with large groups of people, showing well developed communication skills. I have selected this course due to opportunities in which I can gain experience in economics, marketing and accounting. These will help me with the development of my future business career. I am aware that this is the foundation of my future aim- if successful with the pathways I will hope to progress to the Business Management BA (Hons). To gain valuable experience I would also utilise the opportunities given by my family: by working for my family in a variety of business roles. This will help me to understand how businesses work and how to further my own business venture. This would also give me valuable skills in learning how to invest and save for my future business
