My major is Human Development and Family Studies, and I want to be an early childhood teacher. I consider entering two organizations: I Love Gym or RYB Learning Center. They are early education institutions. I choose them because I like working with children. Moreover, education is my desired field.
On the positive side, I have some advantages. First of all, I have work experience. For example, I have a lot of service learning experience about offering childcare service. Second, I think my personality is very suitable for working with children. For instance, in daily life, I am warm and friendly so that students often accept me. It is easy for me to understand the psychological state of students. Third, in the professional knowledge and skills, my professional basis is relatively solid. I can cope with the work needs. For example, I have a wide range of professional knowledge, and easy to accept new knowledge. I also would like to try new ways, through the practice of feedback to adjust their own. Fourth, I have a successful network. Firstly, I lack practical experience. For example, I lack some effective organizational skills, management abilities, and educational methods. Secondly, my major is not appropriate. In detail, compared to Human Development and Family Studies, early education is more suitable to become an early childhood teacher. Third, my mind is too simple. For example, for my professional subjects, I am not in-depth grasp of its key points. Fourth, sometimes, I will be anxious about the individual children.
