As I go through this Assessments, I have found out that I am a stressful person. There are some areas I can improve upon such as in my healthy diet and schooling life. The first thing is doing exercise because it is also part of to be healthy person. I don’t always do exercise and that can have a big effect on my health. As it comes to eating, I don’t eat too much food so it might have big effect on my health. At morning, I always drink coffee because it makes my sleep gone away and I think it is healthier. Instead on the sleeping routine, sometimes I have lack of sleep and I feel tired because I have a lot of things to do when I get home. As it comes to school, I eat lunch at noon and after school. I worry more about my health because I did not get enough diet on my food so I must need to check which food I am eating and choosing the right food which can makes me healthier. Another thing is to get enough sleep, the text suggests those who sleep more are healthier than the people who did not sleep more. Getting enough sleep makes you less to worry about stress and anxiety. It is helpful for me to get enough sleep.
“Sleep is essential to coping with stress. If you’ve had your rest, it’s easier to face almost anything, sleep offers other, not –so- obvious benefits, too, including the relaxation that is so important to minimizing the effects of the stress response”( Hoeger, Turner, & Hafen, 2007, p. 54).
When dealing with stress, saying “no” without guilt. For me, learning to say “no” will help to increase my assertiveness (the ability to express myself and satisfy the needs) (Hoeger, Turner, & Hafen, 2007, p.56). In the assessments of emotional wellbeing, I score 12 points that means I have to make small changes. Also, going through this assessments reflect on my ability of emotional and sometimes in the stressful situation, I realized it ahead of time and I prepare for it. When it comes to stress, I make sure that I do exercise to get rid of my tension. In the assessments 2.3, it has shown me that I have good sense of what I want and I am assertive.
I go through the assessments. It have shown that I can relate to all of those situations as it occurs such as someone drives car by my yard and when I am stuck in traffic. Going through this type of assessment makes me think of being awareness.
In the personality types, there were given the type a, b, c and d. I relate to Type B because I have relaxed personality, easy going. As well as I am free of hostility, anger and suspicion.
