What interests you about your selected program of study? Computer science has always been the aspect of study that has grabbed my attention from a young age. CS always created a sense of awe in me because of the fact that individual people, with a firm understanding of CS, could completely manipulate technology into whatever creation they wanted. In the same way an artist can paint on a canvas, computer scientist can create through code and each program carries a sense of the programmer with it. The more you learn about CS the more uses it gains, making it a tool that builds upon itself.
I stand out because I am invested in my future. For the past few years I have dedicated myself to my future career by taking the most difficult classes that my school has to offer. This has helped me be a better student as I have some knowledge of the classes I will be taking in college. I am an independent, organized person as I am able to juggle my classes, extracurriculars, and other activities. Another way that I am unique is my ability to take charge in a situation.
Upon entering college determining your future career is imperative. It is a struggle trying to understand what career best suits me and my skills. I do not want to have a career where I am unhappy or uninterested in what I do. While reflecting on what career best suits me, I reflected on all of my skills that I could enhance. In high school, I tried to involve myself in different groups, organizations, and classes so I can get a feel for possible fields that I thought about pursuing.
Personal Statement Lying in bed as a little kid my thoughts grew like a wildfire, racing, from thoughts about candy, to episodes of Tom and Jerry, or colorful and imaginative thoughts. Yet the question that persisted in my head was why the person I looked up to the most left me, without explanation, or simply saying goodbye. At the same time I was reaching an age where I was beginning to understand the world around me, which left me scarred mentally, and emotionally. What most affected me was when my father left me for periods of time throughout my life. the father figure in my life that was supposed to be there in times of a needed role model, and to be the one to shape me into a man, not being in my life around my mother and sisters built a confusion inside of me as a little kid creating mixed emotions about my dad.
I want to make sure that nothing holds me back from having a successful future. The idea of Women’s education is an important topic because in today’s world there are many things still trying to hold women back from their full potential. Unfortunately many women are expected to fulfill a certain role in the family. They are often pressured into staying home to take care of the children, or be a good wife to the husband while he makes the majority of the money in the family. Even today in less developed countries some women do not have the opportunity to receive education.
Our society has been founded on the principles of beginning one’s life through flourishing in an education system. Building a foundation to build on as one ages has proven to be substantially beneficial, yet it is not without its advantages and disadvantages. Being a high schooler, my experience is well defined and unique compared to those who are younger to me, as they are still going through what I have passed and learned from. High school is distinctive in that it not only prepares you for the life upcoming, but creates an environment analogous to the difficulties of the modern world. As I step onto the campus, I am enclosed in a border, one that a student is not allowed to cross during the school’s operating hours, which leads to severe

Too many people money is one of the most important aspects of their life. It is a measurement often used for anything and everything a person wants to achieve. Growing up, a lack of money impacted the things I wanted to do and goals I wished to achieve, so learning about how money moved around, how to make it and how to spend it effectively was something that spiked my interest and turned my focus to the subject of business. The wide ranging and numerous opportunities available to be successful combined with the notion of running a business has excited me over the years. Studying a business management degree to me is about the growth, sustainability and development of a company, and also skills I feel I can develop further, such as being a more rounded
When I think about myself as a person, I think of all of my accomplishments in life. I think of my strengths which include my determination, and patience. I also realize how passionate I am about certain things. Along with my strengths come my weaknesses which include my will to listen to others. I sometimes do not give them the attention they need, which is a weak point of my that I am trying to fix.
Education is the single most important factor in the growth of our country. In my eyes, college education acts as the key to a successful and prosperous future. These days, a degree is not something I can opt out of or put off; it is something that is absolutely essential for my success. Since I was a child, I’ve always had an insatiable thirst for knowledge and been naturally inquisitive. As a high school student who is currently enrolled in the collegiate program and trying to obtain an A.A degree, my sole focus is my future.
As I reflect back to the days of my distant youth, my choices and paths previously taken have at times left me anxious and fearful, yet aware of the demand for continued perseverance towards my aspirations in life. Although, my once misguided motivation lead me astray, it also opened my eyes to the opportunities and trials that have made me the person I am today. Namely, my first attempt at college, as a first generation student I’d been extremely proud to push off into this new direction and take on new experiences and become more independent. However, my inability to ask questions and reach out only halted my progression and overall understanding of the college system, I hadn’t quite yet found my voice, so to speak. Originally, I’d opted
Vision without action is unproductive dreaming. Action without vision is a waste of time. Yet, vision with action can change the world. This one concept is one of the keys to my past successes, and helps to explain my dreams and why I seek a master degree in Business Administration from Chapman University. My vision has always been to gain both the theoretical and practice knowledge I need to be a successful person.
Communications is a more relevant field now than ever before with a shift into the information age and the mediums through which news is communicated to the rest of the world. News is never in short supply and any type of information that you are receiving is more than likely brought to you by someone in the communication field. Communication is a tool we utilize in order to deliver a message verbally or non-verbally to inform, remind or persuade. Communications is the root to anything that requires the purpose of human dealings and with technology we have enhanced this idea by making it faster, easier, convenient and global.
Computers and their immense diversity have interested me thoroughly. The first time I used a computer was when I was around the age of 9, with my uncle at his workplace. I was intrigued by the user interface and wanted to find out more about computers; in terms of how they worked and what else they are able to do. Since then I have always been fascinated as to how computers work and the capabilities of each computer. In addition, at the age of 15, I got into gaming and bought a gaming pc.
For as long as I can remember, I have always created worlds of my own. All that was required for me to create these universes was a piece of paper and a pencil. As I grew up, I discovered that drawing wasn’t just a hobby of mine, but a solace when I felt the world crumble beneath me. This comfort would only evolve and I would eventually find a new joy in my art that would forever change the way I viewed my work and talent. This realization is what lead me to the decision that being an artist is what I love and it’s what I need to do to remain happy.
