Identify your interests, values, and abilities
As a marketing major, my broad interest is revolved around the consumer. Specifically, the consumer behavior and how internal and external factors affect his or her purchasing decision. I always dream of working as a marketer in one of a personal care or cosmetic company. However, my desired career path changed after my internship last summer. Last year, I interned at an advertising agency in Bangkok, Thailand. During the internship at an advertising agency, I experienced the whole new world of marketing. I realized that marketer role is not limited to analyze the consumer behavior and identify the goods or services desired by consumers. However, the role of marketer is very broad and is related to all aspect of branding.
My personal value is to be honest, responsible, and accountable for every action that you do. Without these key values, there is no trust between you and your peers (colleagues, clients, friends, etc.) In terms of personal abilities, I am a hard worker and realistic. I always strive for the best in every task that I am assigned to. I am determined to perfect all the tasks because I want to look back and feel proud

I want to keep the connection with the Asian culture while working in the Unites State. In term of geographic location within the US, I prefer the west coast than the east coast. I enjoy the warm weather, so I think west coast is a better fit for me. Moreover, I like working in an high ethical environment where everyone can trust one another. The culture of the company that I will work for have to at least match some of my personal values, including honesty, trustworthy, responsible, and accountable. Last, I prefer working in a medium size company. The medium size company allows us to know each of the employee better in a personal level. Hence, it will be easier for us to work with them in a team
