Growing up in an upper class family, money was something that I was not familiar with. Everything I needed was paid for, from my tuition and living expenses to my daily spendings. However, not only until I entered high school, where I had exposures to subjects such as pre-calculus and economics, that it changed my way of thinking about money. Learning about stock markets, tradings, banks and consumer needs had piqued my interest in the financing field. It was the turning point where I decided the path of my future career. After finishing my junior high school year in Vietnam, I decided that it was time for a new challenge. My parents were against the idea because I had not yet finished high school. Fortunately, I was able to persuade them that this would be one of the decisions that I would never regret. The United States education system is one of the most advanced in the world, and staying in Vietnam would hold my future back. That year, I moved to the United States to continue my education in a community college. Taking business classes in college had made me realized how limited my knowledge was regarded to this area as a whole. This had motivated me to do my own researches and learn about things that were not lectured in class. Thus, I was exposed to many different cultures and many people from all around the world. I always want to meet new people from all backgrounds to learn more about their cultures. One of the reasons why I want to enter the UW is because of how diverse the students are. Race, religion, and sexual orientation are not factors that separate people from their rights to education. The UW has a great respect for that matter and I know that this is the place for me, where there is equality among all
