I would like to start off by saying thank you for taking the time to consider my application to attend the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. When looking for colleges, I had to pick which would be the best choice for me going down the business path. When a friend told me about looking into Whitewater, I did and it was at that moment I knew it was one of my top choices. When hearing you have one of the best business schools in the state, I realized that this college was one that would provide me with a great education. I am interested in going into Business Administration and Management. My father is hoping that one day when he is ready to retire, I will take over the family business. I have taken the challenges that have been thrown unto me when I entered the International Baccalaureate Programme at Ronald Reagan College Preparatory High School. It was up to me when deciding the path I wanted to take my sophomore year, and I chose to take the path of IB. I wanted the challenge and the satisfaction of completing the IB Programme. It has been tough, but I never once gave up and looking forward I know it will all be worth it in the end. With facing the challenges of IB and not getting the ideal grades that I want, I have made sure to have/ live a balanced life. Along with the normal everyday school work and classes, I am the president of the Student Council, have been for 2 years, along with being involved for all 4 years in Student Council. I am also in National Honor Society for the second year. As a senior this year, I am the treasurer for National Honor Society. At whatever college that I am accepted to, I would love to be able to join as many of the leadership councils/ societies that I can. I believe that setting good examples for the generations to come, is a great way to better the
