Education has the ability to alter anyone’s future in a positive way. Although some people do not care about an education, it has the ability to impact life positively. As a little girl, I struggled a lot due to the low level of education my parents had. They spent most of their time working and therefore, I had to learn how to do most things on my own. Due to my struggle as a child, I will continue my education because, otherwise, my future, family, and community will suffer.

I, and most people aspire to have a happy and stable future. If my future seems unstable and I am not content with how it looks, then it will cause emotional turmoil that could be long lasting. I will not feel confident expressing my opinions and views because of the …show more content…

Education plays a very important role in achieving this. Without one, my family could suffer from a rough lifestyle. Since I will not have a degree my job will not pay me enough to own a property. In that situation, I will have to rent a home, and if the homeowner ever decides for my family to leave, we will have to comply with the order, whereas if it was my own home, I would not have to worry about ever becoming homeless. This is what happened to my family and I when I was a little girl. My parents never had enough money to own a property and we had to constantly be moving. This affected me negatively because I had to constantly make new friends and adapt to a new school every so often. I do not want my child to ever be put in this situation and that is why I will continue with my education. Let alone, there will also be less quality time spent as a family because I would have to work more days and longer hours to support them. My spouse and children will not receive the same amount of attention they could receive if I were working in a stable professional job. I will not be able to engage in my children’s education nor hobbies because there would be fewer days spent at home to dedicate time to them. Therefore, this can lead my child to have lower grades in school and have a hard time learning new material since they would be receiving less support from home. Lily Eskelsen Garcia (2014) stated,
